Daniel R. DeHart, SAMS® AMS® Dan DeHart is a highly qualified Accredited Marine Surveyor, Member of The Society of Accredited Marine Surveyors (SAMS) and has Yacht and Small Craft Survey certification number 1175.

Dan is also a lifetime Claims Professional and a licensed All Lines Adjuster in the State of Texas since 1972. He has traveled to 49 countries handling Survey and Claim assignments for individuals, corporations and owners, on vessels of all types, and for insurance companies worldwide including Lloyd's of London and US Yacht Insurers. He has passed high level security clearances, is free of any criminal record...even traffic ones, and no tattoos! He possesses a valid Passport and a valid TWIC card (Transportation Workers Identity Card).

Assignments have included a wide variety of equipment, vessels and offshore construction equipment. Claims have ranged from the small craft to oilfield casualties up to $50,000,000.

Also, Dan is a lifetime boater, a USCG 200 ton Auxiliary Sail Captain (retired) having owned over 20 power and sailing vessels with "In Command" ocean crossing and Caribbean cruising experience.

Devoted to prompt, accurate and concise reporting, assignments are carried out to provide the client with what is needed to accomplish the desired result and at a fair and reasonable price. Over 50 years of business ownership, boating and professional marine experience is applied to all assignments. Every assignment is carried out with the mindset that Dan DeHart is contemplating or owns the vessel.
